The Norisyn sun was a pale-blue star that was orbited by the planet Norisyn.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] it was located within the Occlusion Zone created by the Nihil marauders. That year, when Eye of the Nihil Marchion Ro visited a crystal farm on the fifth moon of Norisyn, he mentally noted that it was cold beneath the Norisyn sun, but he did not mind because he had weathered much worse. While examining the crystals, Ro noticed that half the crystals glinted under the sun, but the other half, which was infected by a plague called the blight, did not. While Ro waited to examine the spread of the blight, the sun was hidden by Norisyn, creating a brief night. Later, Ro returned to the crystal farm and again noticed the crystals glinting under the sun. Norisyn also orbited a small red sun.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The Norisyn sun appeared in the 2024 novel Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
