- "I am under attack by bounty hunters. They triggered an ion pulse and destroyed my lightsaber. Bring me yours."
- ―Darth Vader, to the Ninth Sister
The Ninth Sister utilized a double-bladed spinning lightsaber during her time as an Inquisitor of the Galactic Empire.[1] She originally utilized a similar design to the Grand Inquisitor's, the only difference being a spike was present on each side of the wheel. It was briefly used by Darth Vader during a skirmish on Cabarria after his weapon was destroyed by the Chas, a family of bounty hunters.[5]
At some point in between 18 BBY and 14 BBY, the Ninth Sister replaced her original lightsaber with one that had a more robust hilt, a wider emitter and a thicker wheel.[6]
In her final moments in 9 BBY, the Ninth Sister used her lightsaber to stab Utapau Senator Daho Sejan, believing he helped Cal Kestis, later killing Klatooinian twins Koob and Lizz. During their final duel, Cal managed to wound Ninth Sister by slashing her chest before decapitating her, leaving her lightsaber by her corpse.[7]

The Ninth Sister's lightsaber design in the video game was based on the idea of a heavy axe, having also been inspired by its initial comic appearance.[8]
The Aurebesh writing on the wheel of the Ninth Sister's lightsaber reads "ASDFGHJKLQWERTYUIOPZXCVBNMAASDFGHJKLQWERTYUIOPZXCVBNMASDFGHJKLQWERTYUIOPZXCVBNMASDFGHJKLQWERTYUIOPZXCVBNM". This writing is the letters from left to right of 3 different standard keyboard rows.
