Nightsnakes were a species of snake native to the planet Batuu. Their calls could be heard from within Black Spire Outpost. Some residents of Batuu raised nightsnakes to be pets or for other reasons.[1]

Nightsnakes were created for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, which opened to guests at Disneyland Park on May 31, 2019. While not physically present in the park, sound clips of the snakes' calls can be heard in certain areas.[1]
