Natalia Nogulich (born October 1, 1950) is an American actress who has performed in theatre, television and film. She was the voice of Mon Mothma in the Return of the Jedi radio drama.[2] Nogulich spells her first name "Natalija", but in many of her credits it is spelled "Natalia".[1]

Nogulich was born in Chicago and began her career in local theatre companies. She studied in Illinois, Spain, Italy, and New York. One of her first TV roles was in 1980 in an episode of Lou Grant, starring her future Return of the Jedi co-performer Ed Asner.[1] Her time in New York led to Broadway roles in Hurlyburly and The Iceman Cometh in 1984 and 1985.[3][4] She has been a steady presence on television since the 1980s. Her best-known role was Vice Admiral Alynna Nechayev in four episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and two episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. She also appeared on episodes of series such as 24, Bones and The West Wing.[1]

Besides her acting work, Nogulich has directed productions in Illinois and the District of Columbia and has written a novel, One Woman's War. She has taught theatre classes in a number of institutions. She now lives again in Chicago.[4]
