An excerpt from the interview provided the Morpitoo's comments in untranslated form, and the interview itself involved questions related to the Morpitoo's favorite food, their age, the number of girlfriends they had had, and the Morpitoo's practice of prismatic self-defense and future plans for mutating.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

The Morpitoo and the language they spoke was introduced in the 1993 book Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas, a publication that combines creature designs and photographs from various projects of George Lucas, creator of the Star Wars franchise, with original text by Bob Carrau.[1] Lucasfilm employee Leland Chee, who maintains the Holocron continuity database, has indicated that information contained in Monsters and Aliens from George Lucas is non-canonical with respect to the Star Wars Legends continuity.[3]
