Milk Grass was a grass native to the[1] Mid Rim Territories[2] forest planet Kashyyyk. It grew in dark regions such as the Gloomroot Hollow and had green leaves that protruded from each of its stems.[1]
In 14 BBY,[3] when the crew of the luxury yacht Stinger Mantis undertook a mission to rebuild the Jedi Order, crew member and Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis collected a Milk Grass seed from the Gloomroot Hollow on Kashyyyk. Kestis planted the seed in his companion Greez Dritus' terrarium aboard the Mantis. It was one of the several seeds that Kestis had collected in order to repay Dritus for his assistance during the Mantis crew's mission.[1]
