Megan Ilnitzki (born November 21, 1991[1]) is an American children's book author and editor. Between May 2014 and August 2017, Ilnitzki was employed at Disney Publishing Worldwide as an Editorial Assistant and later an Assistant Editor. During her tenure at the company, Ilnitzki edited Star Wars young reader titles[2] and authored a single short story for the Disney–Lucasfilm Press imprint.[3]
Ilnitzki wrote the 2015 short story "Do or Do Not," which adapts the events of Luke Skywalker's Jedi training with Yoda during the events of[3] the 1980 original trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.[4] The title is adapted from the stand-alone World of Reading book Use the Force! by Michael Siglain and features the same art as the original title. "Do or Do Not" was initially published in the 2015 collection Star Wars Galactic Adventures[3] and was later reprinted in 2016's Star Wars Galactic Stories: 7 Stories from a Galaxy Far, Far Away.....[5]
