A battle group served in the naval forces of the Galactic Empire.[1] In 5 ABY,[2] the battle group was present at the planet Jakku, where Grand Moff Randd intended to have it coordinate on close-atmosphere defense with the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing by the Super Star Destroyer Ravager during the expected upcoming battle with the New Republic. After the 204th's leader, Colonel Soran Keize, informed Randd that the unit had developed idiosyncrasies that had to be acknowledged if they were to take part in the defense, the grand moff told the colonel he would have another Star Destroyer moved by the Ravager instead.[1]
