Ithorian Garden Loaf was a vegetarian dish served at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu[1] in 34 ABY.[3] The dish consisted of a plant-based loaf served with vegetables and a mushroom sauce.[1] Explorer and author Eloc Throno recommended the dish in his Traveler's Guide to Batuu, describing it as lacking in meat but not lacking in flavor.[4] The dish shared its name with the Ithorian species. Although it was suitable for human consumption,[1] Resistance spy Vi Moradi preferred meat and asked Chadra-Fan Kriki to buy other foods to feed her team.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
Ithorian Garden Loaf is one of the dishes sold to customers at the Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo food stall in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.[1] The dish was first revealed as part of a large promotional event held on February 26, 2019.[5] The official Disney Parks Blog describes the dish as "plant-based 'meatloaf' served with roasted vegetable potato mash, seasonal vegetables, and mushroom sauce."[6]
