Howlers were extragalactic furred quadrupedal creatures native to the planet Peridea. Howlers could be tamed and ridden, and would respond to commands as demonstrated by Enoch and Sabine Wren, who used the word "tota" to order one such creature to sit.[1]
Howlers were also ridden by a group of bandits that resided on Peridea.[1] These bandits rode the creatures into battle when they attacked Sabine Wren, Ezra Bridger, and a group of Noti nomads.[3]
Behavior[]
Howlers seemingly exhibited extreme loyalty, with one refusing to part with Sabine Wren, despite her scolding it and insisting it leave her alone. They would also display signs of aggression, becoming agitated towards unfamiliar beings. This behavior frightened members of the Noti species, who shared a homeworld with the howlers.[1]
