"Gungan" is the eleventh episode of the webseries Star Wars Galactic Pals. The episode sees Safari droid M1-RE teach a Gungan youngling how to walk. It was released alongside the twelfth episode, "Loth-Cat," on StarWarsKids.com on November 1, 2022.[1]

Official description[]

Miree provides a young Gungan their first walking lesson.

Plot summary[]

At the Youngling Care Space Station, the children play in a swimming pool. While the other children are in floats, the Gungan youngling is a good swimmer, impressing M1-RE but splashing CAM-E with water. M1-RE explains to CAM-E and the audience that Gungans learn to swim before they walk. Today is the Gungan's first walking lesson.

The youngling is scared to get out of the water. M1-RE attempts to entice him with a snack but the Gungan grabs it with his long tongue. M1-RE continues using snacks to try and lure him onto the land. The youngling is unable to reach the second treat with his tongue and has to crawl out of the pool. As a reward for crawling, M1-RE gives him a treat. She then encourages him to learn how to stand with CAM-E's help.

M1-RE then demonstrates how to walk by putting one foot in front of the other. The Gungan youngling is initially reluctant to try until he spots a dragonfly. M1-RE is pleased that the Gungan has taken the first steps to walking though he still has to lean on his tongue for support.
