GoNet was a Galactic-wide News Organization during the High Republic Era. Supreme Chancellor Lina Soh tasked the organization to provide the official, transparent coverage of the Valo Republic Fair. The network was in charge of broadcasting the fair events to the entirety of the Republic. The network received full access to the Chancellor, the fair, and its inner workings. Originally, GoNet management planned on sending news anchor Sine Spenning to cover the fair. However, Soh specifically requested that GoNet reporter Rhil Dairo take the lead in the fair coverage, as Soh admired Dairo's ethics and will to do what was right.^[1]
