Fereydun Robert "Fred" Armisen (born December 4, 1966 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi,[1] United States)[2] is an American[1] actor.[3] In an episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers,[4] which aired on March 17, 2014,[5] Armisen joked that he had been cast as "the planets and outer space" in the upcoming Star Wars film,[4] the sequel trilogy's 2015 installment Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens.[6] Armisen voiced the Gran vendor Lechee in the animated television series Star Wars Resistance in "The Missing Agent,"[7] which premiered on December 22, 2019.[8]
