"How did you know?"
"That you were a fake? An Inquisitor without a lightsaber? You must think me a fool…"
―Lina Graf and Vaneé[6]

A lightsaber was wielded by the Inquisitor known as the Fourth Sister. It was similar in appearance to the double-bladed spinning lightsabers wielded by other Imperial Inquisitors. She utilized the lightsaber during her mission to capture Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, on Daiyu.[1]

When Lina Graf, a commander within the Alliance to Restore the Republic, infiltrated Fortress Vader on Mustafar wearing the Fourth Sister's stolen armor, the attendant Vaneé eventually realized that Graf was, indeed, not the Inquisitor because she lacked her lightsaber.[6]

Behind the scenes[]

"Here we have Fourth Sister's hilt as well, which is a little bit smaller design. Same metal concept, and it also lights up."
―A member of the Lucasfilm Archives discussing the lightsaber prop used in Obi-Wan Kenobi[7]

Lightsaber prop used in Obi-Wan Kenobi

The Fourth Sister's lightsaber first appeared in the second episode of the Obi-Wan Kenobi television series,[1] which was released on May 26, 2022.[8]

Propmaster Brad Elliott made sure that the size of the prop's rings and handles would fit their intended character. The prop shifted to accommodate for[9] Rya Kihlstedt, the actor who played the Fourth Sister.[1] The prop was able to light up and was rather heavy.[7]
