After the incredibly successful inaugural Project Stardust focusing on Ahsoka Tano, the community voted to make the canon Mustafar article the next focus of communal effort. For those who are unfamiliar with Project Stardust, check out the introductory thread explaining the purpose behind the project.

Discussion[]
Intro[]
Once we get further into the project and the major updates are completed, I'll be completely overhauling the intro. The current intro is severely lacking. MasterFredcerique 17:09, June 23, 2020 (UTC)
- If I have the time, I can help you expand the intro because, yes, it is severely lacking much needed information. The paragraphs are like sentences.

Images[]
I suggest we hold off on adding images until the page is further expanded. UberSoldat93 (talk) 20:23, June 23, 2020 (UTC)
- Probably best to get the text first so we can get a better idea of image placement and where we can justify them, sure. MasterFredcerique 04:34, June 24, 2020 (UTC)
Population[]
We have two conflicting sources regarding population. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary says "15,000 (approximate)" and Star Wars: The Galactic Explorer's Guide says "20,000" what information do you guys think should go in the main body/infobox of the article? Both recent sources, published within ~1 month of each other at end of 2019. The Galactic Explorer's Guide is written from an in-universe perspective post The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary generally gives info current to the time period of Episode IX, it's not a case of fluctuation over time. I lean towards TGEG, because TRoS: TVD says approximate, but does anyone else have input or know of additional sources on the subject? Toqgers (talk) 02:31, June 24, 2020 (UTC)
- I want to say that Journey Through Space 2015 also gives the 20,000 population count, but that almost certainly written in reference to Mustafar as of the events of RotS. - AV-6R7Crew Pit 02:37, June 24, 2020 (UTC)
- I think it would be alright to say the population was "estimated to be between 15k and 20k as of 35 ABY." The fact that EG is in-universe means this doesn't really have to be a contradiction. RattsT (talk) 02:40, June 24, 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks to my library owning the eBook of Journey Through Space, I can confirm it does indeed give the 20,000 population figure. Come to think of it, it's entirely possible there was a population change between Episode VII and Episode IX, so a range between the two might be the best way to display it, barring additional info. Toqgers (talk) 04:18, June 24, 2020 (UTC)
- I agree. And this way we don't need to have the {{Twoconflicting}} template up either. RattsT (talk) 04:24, June 24, 2020 (UTC)

Pronunciation Discrepancies[]
Mustafar plays a major dramatic role in much of the Star Wars franchise. This dramatic tone can be lost with characters pronouncing the planet two different ways. Example: Children of the Force at about the 16-minute mark Anakin Skywalker pronounces the planet with “must” then in the next line Ahsoka Tano pronounces it with “moo” instead. This discrepancy is also found in Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith with the name being pronounced approximately 12 times and they are also pronounced differently with the “must” and “moo” sound by several characters. Is this an issue worth addressing? The “moo” sounding pronunciation is more common in the franchise, but it appears to be more accurate with the “must” pronunciation. This is my first Wookieepedia post so please be advised. —Unsigned comment by TritiumCat (talk • contribs).
- Just a reminder to be sure to sign comments with four tildes (~~~~). To answer your questions, it could be a short note in the "Behind the scenes" section simply stating there are two different pronunciations used IU. MasterFredcerique 18:00, July 1, 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks MasterFredcerique! I actually do not know how to phonetically spell so someone else will have to finish what I started but I can site sources if need be. Funny enough, this is not the only name IU with two pronunciations. TritiumCat (talk) 00:35, July 2, 2020 (UTC)
