Forums > Galaxy's Edge background verification thread

The purpose of this thread is to ensure information being added to articles related to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is accurate and part of official canon, following the passage of the themed entertainment policy. As many of the background stories for locations and characters in the new land are not directly stated through visual media, information must be gleaned from cast members verbally. To confirm that the information given is official, we have a cast member from the land monitoring this thread to offer confirmation.

If you need verification regarding anything you see or hear in Galaxy's Edge, please create a new section below. MasterFredCommerce Guild(Whatever) 16:58, June 1, 2019 (UTC)

Recent edits[]

Recent information by this user has been added using the SWGE reference mentioning that the details can be obtained verbally from cast members. Just wanted to be sure that everything added is really canonical information.--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 19:53, June 27, 2019 (UTC)

  • I will look into them and see what we should and shouldn't consider canon. Thanks for the heads up. MasterFredCommerce Guild(Whatever) 21:16, June 27, 2019 (UTC)

Green milk[]

The pages for green milk and Bubo Wamba Family Farms say that the drink is imported to Batuu from Ahch-To, with the reference that it's part of the backstory that can be obtained verbally from cast members. I've wondered a bit about this, since Galaxy's Edge takes place less than a year after TLJ, and as Luke says in that movie, Ahch-To is the "most unfindable place in the galaxy" at the time. When I noticed this page exists for getting confirmation on this sort of thing, I thought it would be worth asking if it actually is canon that the green milk available at Black Spire comes from Ahch-To? - Roguish Knight (talk) 20:45, January 12, 2020 (UTC)

  • This isn't from the park itself, but here's what the published source Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: The Official Black Spire Outpost Cookbook says: "His stand also sells a rare green milk that comes from sea sows known as thala-sirens, found on a number of watery worlds." You've got a good point, especially since Rey tried to exile herself there a year after Episode VII in IX. Toqgers (talk) 23:08, January 12, 2020 (UTC)
    • I can confirm that we were originally told Ahch-To, but the cookbook is a newer and publicly available source, and it seems to indicate that they realized this as well and clarified that thala-sirens aren't exclusive to Ahch-To. We can probably do away with saying they got the green milk from Ahch-To. MasterCommerce GuildFredcerique 05:08, January 28, 2020 (UTC)

B1 battle droid in droid depot[]

According to something I read, there is a B1 behind the droid building store (so I presume droid depot) in a cage. Is there actually a b1 there? there? Is this unit confirmed to be a B1 or is it an OOM-series battle droid--Editoronthewiki (talk) 04:56, January 28, 2020 (UTC)

  • There are actually two battle droids there. Not sure if OOM or B1. Here is an image of them. MasterCommerce GuildFredcerique 05:10, January 28, 2020 (UTC)

Jet juice[]

Awhile back, same user as the "Recent edits" query added that Jet juice is from Jelucan. The idea of engine-room hooch having a homeworld doesn't sound right, but it could make sense if it's meant to be about the specific version served at Oga's Cantina and not jet juice in general. What's real here? Immi Thrax (talk) 05:12, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

  • I'm not familiar with, nor am I able to locate, anything official stating jet juice is from Jelucan. Seems like fanon to me. MasterFredCommerce Guild(talk) 08:33, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
