Force adherents were believers of the Force who accepted its existence and influence in the galaxy. Although Force adherents were often not force-sensitive, belief and worship of the Force allowed force adherent to adopt abilities such as being able to commune with their surroundings despite not directly tapping into the Force. Other skills force adherents learned allowed them to push their bodies past their limits through meditative contemplation and training. Some force adherents were also able to possess enhanced reflexes and perception.[1]

Force adherents were first mentioned in Dawn of Rebellion, roleplaying supplementary sourcebook for the Star Wars Roleplaying series that was published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2018.
