An Emergency button was a communication device used for quick communication to a nearby authority.[1] In 3956 BBY,[2] a colonist on the Outer Rim planet of Dantooine named Handon Guld, used an emergency button to quickly contact the nearby Jedi Enclave, following his murder of Calder Nettic and subsequent injury at the hands of Rickard Lusoff.[1]
