Elizabeth Eve Wein is the author of "Change of Heart," a short story which appears in the anthology From a Certain Point of View, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope.[1] She has also written the junior novel Cobalt Squadron, a tie-in to to the film The Last Jedi, which was released on the same day as the film and provided the backstory for new characters introduced in it, Rose and Paige Tico.[2]
She has a private pilot's license, and ever since she first flew, she wanted to write about it.[3]
