The Echerta system was a system that served as a hub for multiple hyperspace lanes. This made it a popular spot to stop and change course or stop at the system's space station.[1] In around 230 BBY,[2] the mauraders known as the Nihil attacked many civilians in the system, but they were thwarted by the crew and passengers of the Vessel.[1]
