- Yaddle: "Dooku, step to me. Whatever your crimes are, help me now."
- Dooku: "Then You heard? You know."
- Yaddle: "That does not matter."
- Darth Sidious: "Don't believe her."
- Yaddle: "Whatever lies he's told you, whatever you have done, you can make up for it now by bringing him to justice."
- Darth Sidious: "Remember what you told me. The Jedi blindly serve a corrupt Senate that fails the Republic it represents. Do you want to prove your loyalty? Kill her!"
- Yaddle: "There is still a chance to make things right."
- Dooku: "I'm afraid—"
- Yaddle: "I know you are."
- Dooku: "I'm afraid it is too late."
- ―Yaddle, Darth Sidious, and Dooku[3]
A duel in the Works erupted between Count Dooku[3]—a former Jedi Master[5] who had been secretly working with the Sith Master Darth Sidious[3]—and Jedi Master Yaddle. After Yaddle followed Dooku,[3] who had been hiding his Sith dealings by use of the code name "Tyranus,"[6] to the LiMerge Power building, the two engaged in a lightsaber duel, which resulted in her death. In the aftermath of the duel, Dooku fully succumbed to the dark side of the Force and became a Sith Lord[3] under the name Darth Tyranus.[4]
