The Droideka Oppressor,^[1] also known as the "Oppressor" model,^[2] was a model of droideka that was developed so late it never saw use in the Clone Wars.^[1] The Oppressor was a heavy artillery droid,^[2] and during the Galactic Civil War, a number of smugglers re-purposed them to protect their contraband. Similar to its its predecessor, the Oppressor was fitted with two twin blaster cannons, but its artillery could level anything that was not protected by a deflector shield.^[1]
