Drewe Henley (1940-1941[1] - February 14, 2016) was an English actor who portrayed Red Leader Garven Dreis in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. He also appeared through archive footage in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, released ten months after his death.[2]
Henley was incorrectly credited as "Drewe Hemley" in the end credits of A New Hope. Henley was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which forced him to retire from acting after A New Hope. He later ran a bed and breakfast with his wife in Devon, England.[2]
