For other uses, see Dox (disambiguation).

One of two oceans on the planet Lazerian IV, Dox Ocean was known—alongside its counterpart, Caz Ocean—to the native amphibious Akwin species as "Father Ocean." It also hosted a wide variety of aquatic lifeforms that were important to both the Akwin and the native Human population for sustenance.

Description[]

Dox Ocean was located on the planet Lazerian IV. Located to the east of the continent Doxet and opposite Caz Ocean—which was to the continent's west—Dox Ocean spanned the eastern portion of the eastern hemisphere and stretched to both of the planet's poles. It continued until the west coast of the continent Laz in the western hemisphere and also entirely surrounded the continents of Torm and Elgar. The native amphibious species, the Akwin, knew both Caz and Dox Ocean collectively as "Father Ocean." The cities Tormaine, Lazeria City, and Devit—the former of which was on Torm and the latter two of which were on Laz—bordered the coastal waters of Dox Ocean.[1]

Both oceans hosted an abundance of marine life, including many aquatic plants, numerous sea creatures with some small in size, and coral. The native human population of Lazerian IV, the Lazerians, utilized the practice of fishing to catch marine life for consumption, and the Akwin also relied on the marine life for food. Underneath the waves of the oceans were a large number of Akwin city-states, which were protected from the Lazerians' detection due to minerals that blocked sensor scans, which were in abundance in the water.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

Dox Ocean was created by John Terra and introduced in Twin Stars of Kira, a 1993 supplement to West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[1]
