The Despot was a starship in the service of the Galactic Empire in 13 BBY. After rebel smugglers aboard the YT-209 freighter Eclipse managed to infiltrate Ryloth and land near the city of Lessu, Moff Delian Mors ordered Karris to contact the Despot and tell them to watch for an unauthorized liftoff by the Eclipse. As the Despot was reversing course, the Eclipse managed to escape Ryloth and flee into hyperspace.^[1]
