The Darkhawk was a Separatist freighter that had been refitted to be used by the 1st Legion, an elite Imperial stormtrooper unit that served as the personal forces of the Sith Lord Darth Vader.[1]
It was used during the Empire's conflict with the warlike Grysk to board their starships.[1]
History[]
The Darkhawk was a freighter belonging to the Confederacy of Independent Systems. After the fall of the Republic, and the Clone Wars ended, the freighter was refitted and modified by the First Legion, the personal legion of the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader.[1]
When Emperor Palpatine sensed a disturbance in the Force, he dispatched Vader and Chiss Grand Admiral Thrawn to Batuu. He personally ordered Vader to bring the Darkhawk and the First Legion with him as well.[1]
Along the way, Thrawn's personal assassin Rukh snuck aboard the Darkhawk several times using his cloaking device, as he was curious about the ship. Commander Kimmund warned Rukh that if he did this one more time, he would be shot and killed.[1]
