Conduit purgers were pest control devices designed to eradicate conduit worms from the conduits the creatures infested. The device was orange in color and consisted of a body with two nozzles.[1]

The conduit purger was mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia.[1] The device originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity in the 2002 Star Wars: Attack of the Clones: The Visual Dictionary, which was written by David West Reynolds[2] and had some props designed for it by concept sculptor Robert E. Barnes and model make Don Bies.[3]
