Clever-birds were a type of squawking bird that lived in the Canyon of Akar on the Outer Rim planet Akiva.^[1] In 5 ABY,^[2] the Akivan native and pilot Norra Wexley thought about the noise made by the canyon's clever-birds and compared it to the relative silence of the planet Kashyyyk while visiting there.^[1]
