CH-83[3] was a BB-series astromech droid with a black sensor and green, gray, and white paneling.[2] As a member of the BB-series, it was manufactured by Industrial Automaton and stood 0.67 meters tall.[1] In 34 ABY,[4] during the First Order's occupation of the planet Batuu, CH-83 was displayed among droid parts on one of the shelves inside Droid Depot, a store in Batuu's Black Spire Outpost.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
CH-83 appeared as a prop within the themed land Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge,[2] which was opened to guests at Disneyland Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2019.[5] The droid was first identified in 2021[6] when a wind-up toy of the droid was released as part of the Droid Depot toy line.[3]
