Bryce Dallas Howard (born March 2, 1981) is an American actress and director, best known for her performance in the 2015 film Jurassic World and her work writing and directing the 2015 short film Solemates.[1]

Howard is the eldest child of Solo: A Star Wars Story director Ron Howard and actress Cheryl Howard, and is the niece of actor Clint Howard.[source?] She directed two episodes of the live-action Star Wars television series The Mandalorian,[1] and one episode of the series The Book of Boba Fett.[2] Both series were created by Jon Favreau, who worked with her father on Solo.[3] Howard had spent a lot of time on the set of Solo, where she received filmmaking tips from her father and from George Lucas.[4] She voiced Yaddle in Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi.[5]

She is also married to Seth Gabel, who voiced the Bartender Droid in "Chapter 22: Guns for Hire".
