The Bonbrak species (pictured) were protected by the Bonbrak Protection Society.
The Bonbrak Protection Society were a group tasked with protecting Bonbraks, a sentient species that had been classified as a protected species by the Galactic Republic.[1] In 230 BBY,[2] the Corellian bodyguard Dizcaro informed his rival Alys "Crash" Ongwa that he was charging her for a comlink she had stolen from him, as well as the bail money for his client—the Shani singer Crufeela—who Ongwa had had arrested. In response, Ongwa stated she would have the money sent to the Bonbrak Protection Society.[1]
