Bitter Pill Company was an infantry company in the army of the Rebel Alliance that was deployed during the Mid Rim Retreat. The company was sent to a planet which its members considered to be a "trash heap"^[1] in 3 ABY^[2] as part of a final effort to distract the forces of the Galactic Empire. Bitter Pill Company lost its troop transport on the planet but secured a replacement. News of the company's actions soon reached the Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry, and one of its members, Sergeant Maximian Ajax, briefly recounted the story to First Sergeant Hazram Namir.^[1] Captain Fennro Drogan, an expert tactician and technician, was a member of the company who later served at the Battle of Endor^[3] in 4 ABY.^[4]

Behind the scenes[]

The Bitter Pill Company was first mentioned in Alexander Freed's 2015 novel Battlefront: Twilight Company.^[1] The company later appeared in the form of Fennro Drogan, a playable character in the 2015 mobile game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes^[3] who was made unlockable through a marquee event on August 31, 2023.^[5]
