Batuuan Rats were a species of rat native to the planet Batuu. Their calls could be heard from within Black Spire Outpost. Some residents of Batuu raised rats to become pets or for other reasons.^[1]

Batuuan Rats were created for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, which opened to guests at Disneyland Park on May 31, 2019. While not physically present in the park, sound clips of the rats' calls can be heard in certain areas.^[1]
