"BB-8 - A Hero Rolls Out" is the forty-first episode of Star Wars Galaxy of Adventures. It premiered on the Star Wars Kids YouTube channel on March 27, 2020.[1]

Plot summary[]

The video opens with BB-8 dodging laser fire at Niima Outpost on Jakku. The narrator explains that in a "galaxy of adventures," BB-8 rolls into battle. BB-8 knocks down two First Order stormtroopers before escaping with Finn and Rey aboard the Millennium Falcon. After Rey fires off the ship's engines, BB-8 clings to safety by using his grappling cable.

The video then jumps to BB-8 flying with Poe Dameron in his T-70 X-wing starfighter Black One during the attack on the Resistance navy. After the fighter is hit, Poe tasks BB-8 with repairing the ship's weapon system. The dutiful BB-8 descends down the astromech socket, repairing the targeting system just in time for Poe to shoot down a TIE/sf space superiority fighter.

Later, BB-8 fires coins at officers from the Canto Bight Police Department. He then comes to Finn and Rose Tico's rescue aboard the blazing hangar of the Mega-class Star Dreadnought Supremacy. BB-8 hijacks a First Order All Terrain Scout Transport and shoots down several stormtroopers. Finn and Rose ride with BB-8 in the walker. Finn gives BB-8 a thumbs up and the droid returns the favor with his spark projector.
