This article covers a subject from a Star Wars: Visions story that Lucasfilm declared is set in an alternate history within a reimagined galaxy.

"I will forever be the humble servant to you and your brother until the day my functions cease."
―B-20N[2]

B-2ON was a droid that served the dark side twins Am and Karre.[2] A loyal servant, he had an unwavering determination to protect Am and his masters' mission.[1]

Behind the scenes[]

"The way B-2ON carries himself and the way he talks reminds you of an old butler. He's experienced and usually reserved. Yet sometimes he shows a surprisingly emotional side that comes from devotion and dedication, leading to an unwavering determination to protect Am and his masters' mission at any cost."
―Kanako Shirasaki[1]

B-2ON was created for "THE TWINS," a short film in the Star Wars: Visions series produced by Studio Trigger, directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, and released on Disney+[2] on September 22, 2021.[3] He was voiced by Tokuyoshi Kawashima in Japanese and by Jonathan Lipow in the English dub.[2]

Though his name was spelled as B-20N in cast list posted beforehand on StarWars.com[4] and on one occasion in another article featuring the droids of Visions, the droid's name was given as B-2ON in the remainder of the latter article[1] and in the short film itself.[2] As Am and Karre are a spin on Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker, B-2ON was inspired by C-3PO. Visions producer Kanako Shirasaki hinted that Studio Trigger named B-2ON as a reference.[1]
