- "Ro and Viess want an impenetrable wall, but that is impossible. They don't care about the objective reality of the situation. They only care that I'm failing to provide. Especially because you managed to find a way through, dear Jedi, and now you continue jumping back into the mess as easily as if it's a piece of agron cake!"
- ―Xylan Graf, about the Stormwall
Agron cake was a type of cake.[1] In 228 BBY,[2] the physicist Xylan Graf—who had been forced to maintain the Stormwall hyperspace barrier for the Nihil marauders—left his position and remanded himself to Republic custody. While on the Republic Defense Coalition cruiser Axiom being debriefed, Graf expressed his feelings that the Nihil leaders Marchion Ro and Abediah Viess were delusional about the technology's limitations, remarking that the Jedi seemed to be slipping through the barrier "as easily as if it's a piece of agron cake."[1]
Behind the scenes[]
Agron cake was mentioned in the 2024 novel Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]

- ↑ Star Wars: Timelines dates Starlight Beacon's destruction to 230 BBY. The implementation of the Guardian Protocols, which Star Wars: The High Republic Character Encyclopedia places in 229 BBY, took place one week after Starlight Beacon's fall according to The High Republic: Shadows of Starlight 1. As The High Republic: Temptation of the Force takes place one year and six weeks after the destruction of Starlight Beacon and its events span a few months, its events must be set in 228 BBY.
