- "We went through a few different concepts and angles before Galactic Files as it is now really entered development."
- ―David Waldeck, Editor/Art Director at the Topps Company
2012 Topps Star Wars Galactic Files Series 1 is a trading-card set released by Topps on October 3, 2012. The 350-card base set features four categories: Characters, Vehicles, Creatures, and Factions. Another set of cards, 2013 Topps Star Wars Galactic Files Series 2, was released on August 9, 2013.
Continuity errors[]
Mistakes can be found on some cards:
- Shu Mai's and Passel Argente's titles have been swapped. Mai is the Commerce Guild Presidente, whereas Argente is the Corporate Alliance Magistrate.
- Droopy McCool played a chidinkalu, not a chindinkalu.
- Deliah Blue is not from the Old Republic era, but the Legacy era.
- Wullf Yularen is not a Republic Captain, but a Republic Admiral.
