Full Cowl - Shoot Style

Full Cowl - Shoot Style (フルカウル シュートスタイル, Furu Kauru Shūto Sutairu^?), full name One For All: Full Cowl - Shoot Style (ワ��フォーオール フルカウル シュートスタイル, Wan Fō Ōru Furu Kauru Shūto Sutairu^?) and localized as Full Cowling - Shoot Style, is an Ultimate Move performed by Izuku Midoriya using the One For All Quirk and the Full Cowl technique.

Description[]

Shoot Style was developed by Izuku during his training for the Provisional Hero License Exam. In order to reduce the strain on his arms and to step away from the shackles of imitating All Might, Izuku decided to focus his new fighting style around using his legs.^[1]

Having learned to use Full Cowl to quickly move around from Katsuki Bakugo and Gran Torino, Izuku completed his new fighting style by learning kicking techniques from Tenya Ida. At the same time Izuku developed Shoot Style, Mei Hatsume invented Iron Soles to help compensate for Izuku's own leg strength and greatly increase his kicking power.^[2]

To use Shoot Style, Izuku concentrates Full Cowl's effects in his legs rather than his arms for his smash attacks, enabling him to use their naturally greater power to improve his striking strength. Combined with the Iron Soles support items, Izuku can kick through solid rock and create shock waves from the force of his smash attacks.^[3]

This fighting style inspired All Might's Shoot Style Smash.^[4]

Related Techniques[]

	Manchester Smash (マンチェスタースマッシュ, Manchesutā Sumasshu?): Izuku leaps into the air and flips forward to bring down a powerful axe kick to his opponent.[5]
	St. Louis Smash (セントルイス スマッシュ, Sento Ruisu Sumasshu?): Izuku propels himself off the ground into the air above his opponent and arches his leg back. He uses Shoot Style to focus One For All into his leg before swinging it around and delivering a strong vertical roundhouse kick to his opponent's face.[6]
	St. Louis Smash Air Force (イス スマッシュエアフォース, Sento Ruisu Sumasshu Eafōsu?): Izuku draws out 45 percent of his power. He then arches his leg back and performs a strong vertical roundhouse kick, firing a large blast of compressed air.[7]
