Hitchcock Birds (ヒッチコックバーズ Hitchikokkubāzu?) is an Ultimate Move performed by Koji Koda using the Anivoice Quirk.[1]

Description[]

Using the power of his voice, Koji summons a swarm of birds to his position in order to create a distraction or hinder his opponent's vision.

Koji first uses this Ultimate Move during the Provisional Hero License Exam. In this instance, he uses doves to provide a distraction, allowing Fumikage Tokoyami, Minoru Mineta, and Mashirao Ojiro to land a surprise attack on two examinees.[2]

In another instance, using crows, Koji uses this Ultimate Move to hinder the vision of Nine and Slice, allowing Mezo Shoji, Tsuyu Asui, and Ochaco Uraraka to rescue Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Mahoro, and Katsuma Shimano.[3]

Koji later uses this Ultimate Move offensively, when he uses it against Izuku in Class 1-A's fight to bring him back to U.A.[4]

Hitchcock Birds gets its name when it is used offensively, once again, against a Liberation soldier, during the Final War. This version involves a number of different species of birds, as well as insects and bugs, including dragonflies, wasps, and butterflies.[5]
