The Oni has one of the highest Health and Attack among all Bronze tier characters that is only surpassed by Johnny Cage/Ninja Mime. Despite that, his passive works as a weaker but yet opposite to the Monk's passive as it drains one bar of power from just the opponent who defeats Oni, rather than the entire team. On the bright side, that opponent will have to regenerate that bar of power again, thus leaving them to use basic combos until they gain back more power. The best way to use Oni's potential is to leave him to fight the last opponent where he/she is forced to fight him and get power drained, but also to not have him as your last character, as his passive would then be useless.
