The Feats of Strength is a game feature introduced in Update 1.19, allowing players to complete sets of tasks for all Gold and Diamond Characters. Upon completion, they are rewarded with certain character customizations (e.g. Victory Stances, Taunts, Backgrounds) and minor statistic bonuses. Completing specific milestones can also reward players with a Strength Pack, which includes a set of 3 random character customization cards that unlock a certain customization feature for use, but do not reward the player with statistic bonuses, which can only be obtained by completing the specified task.

Mechanics[]

The way to obtain the feats of strength is just by playing with the corresponding character. Common tasks for all characters can be winning a number of matches in Faction Wars, winning matches on Battle Mode or performing Special Attacks a big number of times. Each time a milestone is reached (i.e. perfoming 50 X-Rays/Fatal Blows with the same character), the player gets rewarded with a feat of strength of said fighter, plus some strength packs and a 2% stat boost; one can get up to 8% stat boost by reaching all milestones. Strength packs can be a reward by half-way of reaching the milestone.

The requirements to progress through these feats are really diverse: Perform 10-250 X-Rays/Fatal Blows, Win 10-200 matches in Battle/Challenge Mode, perform 25-1500 Special Attacks 2 or 30-2000 Special Attacks 1, knock out 10-1000 enemies or 10-500 a specific enemy and perform 50-3000 combo enders. The available feats of strength are the following:

  • Allegiances: badges that can be seen on the chest and arms of your character during the victory screen. Reaching milestones give the character a 2% Defense Boost. The Allegiances are the following: Faction (the icon of your chosen Faction), Class (the class of your character), The Dragon (Mortal Kombat's emblem) and the Rune.
  • Victory Stances: arguably the only feats of strength that worth the grinding. Just like Mortal Kombat 11, one can choose between four different Victory stances that can be appreciated when winning a match. The first two poses are common to most characters while the two last ones are character-specific. To earn Victory Stances, one must play 25-750 matches in Faction Wars using that fighter. Reaching milestones give the character a 2% Attack Boost. The common stances are the following: Double Down, No Chance, Victory!, Warming Up, Malice and Gunshow.
  • Taunts: voice phrases that can be heard when winning a match or during certain Special Attacks. Reaching milestones give the character a 2% Health Boost. All the Taunts are character-specific.
  • Icons: those are icons to customize your War Banner. However, they won't be applied when they're earned. Instead, you will have to manually edit your banner once they're available. Reaching milestones give the character a 2% Damage Boost. There can be icons that are not related to any character, those can be found under the General or Halloween section while editing your War Banner, and earned only by opening Strengh Packs.
  • Backgrounds: those are backgrounds for your War Banner. Like icons, they're are character specific earned by reaching milestones or General/Hallowing themed obtainable only by purchasing Strength Packs. Reaching milestones give the character a 2% Power Generation Boost.
  • Titles: those are text lines that can be added to your War Banner, all of them are character-specific with the exception of the Halloween titles, due to the lack of the General ones. Reaching milestones give the character a 2% Lethal Blow Chance.

Strategy[]

Since the progress on the feats involve very heavy grinding, it is advised to only focus on your favorite characters, or the character with your most preferred victory stances, for example. It's recommended to progress through the feats only for the stat boosts such as Damage and Lethal Blow chance, since all the customization things can be obtained by buying packs.

By just playing the game normally, there will be a whole lot of Strength Packs accumulating, so the best option is to open them only when traveling or waiting so you don't waste your time, generally thousands of packs will be accumulated.

When you have a repeated customization, it will break in 10-25 rune fragments, which can be used to purchase a Strength Packs (100 fragments) or the Halloween Pack that rarely appears (50 fragments). However it seems that Halloween customizations are available in the regular pack, which explains the lack of a Halloween Pack during the last 31 of October.

War Banner[]

The War Banner is a cosmetic banner that represents the player on online battles, generally only on Faction Wars. It's fully customizable thanks to the Feats of Strength and you can edit it by tapping on your banner and selecting Edit War Banner on the menu.

  • Banner border: usually changes with the faction you choose.
  • Banner icon: small icon that appears on the left side of the banner.
  • Banner background: background that appears behind your user name.
  • Banner title: text title that appears below your user name.
