A weatherman was a broadcast reporter who gave the weather forecast.
In 2259 of the alternate reality, a Starfleet weatherman reported on the weather in Earth Sector 2, San Francisco Metropolitan Area. Both Alexander Marcus and Christopher Pike had his report displayed on the powerwalls in their offices. (Star Trek Into Darkness)
