In the alternate 2259, Earth Sector 2 was a region of planet Earth.
On 2 News, a weatherman reported on the weather in this sector. This report was broadcast between 06:00 and 13:00 in the San Francisco Metropolitan Area. It was visible in a collection of graphics and video media that were seen on a powerwall in the offices of Christopher Pike and Alexander Marcus at Starfleet Headquarters. (Star Trek Into Darkness)
