The USS Locherer (NCC-325062) was a Federation Merian-class starship operated by Starfleet during the 32nd century.
In 3191, the Locherer was stationed at Federation Headquarters when the USS Discovery departed for the planet Trill. (DIS: "Jinaal")
The Locherer captures Mol and L'ak's warp pod
The Locherer was later sent to hunt for Moll and L'ak. After the Discovery completed its mission at Halem'no, the Locherer reported that they had located the couple. Having picked up a coded distress call from Moll on a courier channel, the Locherer captured the couple's Terran warp pod from the ISS Enterprise in a tractor beam just before Discovery arrived. After Discovery was ready, the Locherer beamed Moll and L'ak to Discovery's sickbay. (DIS: "Whistlespeak", "Erigah")
A short time later, the Locherer was one of four starships recalled to Federation Headquarters as reinforcements against a Breen dreadnaught. (DIS: "Erigah")
