The rebelution (rebellion + revolution) was a rebel uprising on Pakled Planet that occurred during the early 2380s.
Prelude[]
Prior to the conflict, the Pakleds were ruled by an emperor, king and queen. The Emperor of the Pakleds was the highest in this hierarchy, as he had the biggest helmet.
Many Pakled citizens considered themselves the victims of oppression within this government, and as such, a rebellion was planned, so as to overthrow it.
The takeover[]
In 2381, while Captain Carol Freeman and Lieutenant Shaxs were attempting to negotiate a cease-fire from the ongoing conflict between the Federation and the Pakleds that had started a year previously, the Pakled rebels sent a spy aboard the USS Cerritos to in the hopes of learning secrets about command codes and other classified information.
The spy, an escaped prisoner named Rumdar, proved to be quite incompetent as a spy. He was under the impression that Air Lock 17 was a bathroom, and when he thought he was pressing the flush button to the toilet, he was actually jettisoning himself into space.
The first officer of the Cerritos, Commander Jack Ransom and security officer Kayshon located him, and he was brought to sickbay to recover from vacuum exposure. Doctor T'Ana was amazed that his Pakled physiology allowed him to survive.
Captain Freeman (not Janeway) and Shaxs caught in the middle of the "rebelution."
Within instants, the rebels crashed through the windows of the building and the emperor was assassinated. The man who killed the emperor declared himself the Pakled leader. He then put the helmet on his head, and immediately all of the other Pakleds sworn allegiance to him.
Rumdar later beamed down to the surface of Pakled Planet to join the new Pakled leader. There he revealed that he was actually a spy, and that "Captain Janeway" was in reality Carol Freeman. (LD: "The Spy Humongous")
