Pinewood Toronto Stage 4 Discovery corridor

Set drawings featuring the Discovery corridor on Stage 4

Pinewood Toronto Stage 4, also known as the Mega Stage, is located on the Pinewood Toronto Studios lot in Toronto, Canada. It is the largest sound stage in North America, covering 45,900 square feet.

For the filming of Star Trek: Discovery and the Star Trek: Short Treks set aboard Discovery, Stage 4 housed most of the USS Discovery standing sets with the exception of the bridge and engineering. [1] This included a curved corridor, sickbay, crew quarters, the transporter room and the brig, which were originally used for the USS Shenzhou, and later modified to portray the Discovery. [2] [3] Stage 4 also housed the Discovery war room. [4]

The Discovery sets were redressed to serve as the USS De Milo in ST: "The Escape Artist", the USS Hiawatha in DIS: "Brother", portions of the USS Enterprise in DIS Season 2 and ST: "Q&A", and the USS Cabot in ST: "The Trouble with Edward".
