Murder drone

A murder drone was a versatile flying drone used by the sentient computer AGIMUS to carry out his will. They were equipped with energy weapons and tractor beams, and were capable of hacking computers and projecting force fields. (LD: "Where Pleasant Fountains Lie", "A Few Badgeys More")

In 2381, a USS Cerritos away team disconnected AGIMUS from his drone network on Molmol's homeworld and took him into custody. After the shuttle transporting him to the Daystrom Institute crashed onto a desert planet, AGIMUS attempted to trick Ensigns Beckett Mariner and Brad Boimler into connecting him to a derelict starship, so that he could use its materials to build another fleet of murder drones and conquer the star system. After AGIMUS' defeat, a few of his drones were left adrift in space. One of them recorded the theft of a Bynar ship by an unknown vessel.

During his imprisonment in Self-Aware Megalomaniacal Computer Storage, AGIMUS upgraded himself so that he could manufacture new drones within his casing and control them wirelessly. Later in 2381, he used his new drones to take Lieutenants jg Brad Boimler and D'Vana Tendi captive and commandeer their shuttle, and then to conquer the planet Plymeria. (LD: "A Few Badgeys More")
