Kent Allen Jones is a sculptor and makeup artist specialized in animatronics, puppets and special effects makeup who worked as sculptor on Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home and for Bob Jean Productions on Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Jones worked as sculptor on Big Trouble in Little China (1986), The Big Easy (1986), Masters of the Universe (1987, with Todd McIntosh, Gerald Quist, June Westmore, and Michael Westmore), Predator (1987, with Jeff Dawn and James R. Scribner), Die Hard (1988, with Paul Abascal, Wes Dawn, Josée Normand, and Jim Kail), Beetlejuice (1988), Back to the Future Part II (1989, with Ellis Burman, Hazel Catmull, and Kenny Myers), Look Who's Talking (1989), Ghostbusters II (1989), The Abyss (1989), Dances with Wolves (1990), Hook (1991), Honey, I Blew Up the Kid (1992), Alien 3 (1992), Death Becomes Her (1992), and Batman Forever (1995).

Beside working on the television series Captain Power, Cyberforce, and Misfits of Science, Jones also worked on Ed Wood (1994), Jumanji (1995), Starship Troopers (1997), Batman & Robin (1997), Godzilla (1998), Galaxy Quest (1999), The Cell (2000), The One (2001), The Time Machine (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Superman Returns (2006, directed by Bryan Singer), Hancock (2008), Angels & Demons (2009), The Last Airbender (2010), and Tron: Legacy (2010).
