Karzill IV was the inhabited fourth planet in its star system. It was the site of a mining colony where Varuvian ore was extracted. The planet had at least one moon.
In 2381, the colony was invaded and taken over by the Pakleds. The USS Titan dispatched an away team, disguised as miners, to infiltrate the colony and plant a tracking device on the Pakleds' shuttle. However, the team was discovered and the Titan was forced to extract them under enemy fire. (LD: "Kayshon, His Eyes Open")
