Jana was a female android, and the twin sister of Sutra. She was created by Doctors Bruce Maddox and Altan Soong in the late 2380s at Coppelius Station, Coppelius. Cristóbal Rios indicated she looked exactly like Sutra, even more so than Soji Asha, meaning that she also had golden skin and yellow eyes.
In 2390, she and Beautiful Flower arrived on the USS Ibn Majid, where they were ultimately killed by Captain Alonzo Vandermeer, the ship's commanding officer. Vandermeer did so under a black flag directive issued by Commodore Oh of Starfleet Security. After Vandermeer's suicide over his actions, she and Beautiful Flower's corpses were later beamed into space by Commander Rios. (PIC: "Broken Pieces", "Et in Arcadia Ego, Part 1")
Jana was only seen in a drawing, which implied that she, like her sisters, bore the likeness of Isa Briones. By 2399, Sutra apparently had longer hair than Jana did at the time of the latter's death.
